Here are a few of the pictures from the season.  I started Fall salmon trolling August 14th and went through October 29.  I had a great time this year.  Fall is a great time of year.  The weather was great this year allowing to spend time on the Jetty which I grew to love.  The big fish was 39lbs caught by Mark in the above picture.

Summer fishing.

Summer fishing was pretty relaxed this year.  I only spent a few days on the Umpqua for smallmouth.  The majority of my days were spent on the McKenzie fishing for trout.  It is nice only fishing 45 minutes from home.

Sturgeon season was good.

Our fishing this year was the best we have had in three years.  The weather was relatively good compared to the years past. The wind stayed down most days allowing us to fish where we wanted.  These are just a few shots from last season.

Giant body, small horned buck.

I know this is not fishing, but here is my mighty buck I shot this year with my muzzleloader.  My buddy Dusty and I spent five days muzzleloader hunting this October.  We had lots of action, but this was all we brought home.  The horns may be small, but the backstrap is good.

Douglas with a springer.

Here is my old buddy Douglas with a springer he caught with me a while back.  The reason this picture is important is that Doug died of cancer this year.  He was a great guy who loved to fish.  He was always a go getter no matter what the weather.  I will miss him in the boat.

Winter Steelhead

Antone with a nice one from the Umpqua River. We had a great day last week. It was my first day in the sled steelhead fishing this winter.

Here I am with one Antone caught. She lets me pose with one every once in a while. This was a great fish in the 16 to 17lb range.

This is little Makayla (aka: deathgrip) with her first steelhead. Her dad Tim brought her for a birthday present. She did a great job, and her dad was quite a proud Papa.

Here are the Bend boys with a nice limit of fish. Let me tell you this is a fun group of guys to fish. Always a good time, and a trip I look forward to each time they make the call to go fishing. I hope we can do it more often.

Another nice limit from this week. Tim, Doug, and Donny. The weather held out for us, and the river stayed in shape. Thanks for a great trip, and Tim thanks for the great metal sturgeon sculpture. I look forward to our next day on the water.
